We welcome all scissors: Beauty, Barber and Grooming. Our sharpening process is rooted in traditional Japanese methods, assisted by sophisticated factory technology. Scissor Sharpening Process
Sharpening your scissor is broken down into 4 basic steps:
Balance: the scissors movement with proper tension
Top Side Edge: Refer below – convex or bevel
Inside Edge: smoothness to which the scissor closes
Performance Corrections: replacing a worn out bumper, washer, or handle adjustment
Each step takes about 5 minutes (Total 20 minuets per pair of scissors).
